We lived through.

Happy 2013! Woke up at 10am today and I felt great. Thanks to Yusman and I managed to reach home at 2am after countdown. This year's countdown was..epic lol. I still remember I spent the last day of 2011 with a lot of people. We met up with our Ice Camp buddies at Sentosa and then spent the rest of the day till the next morning at MBS with all my SD friends.

This year, although there was only a few of us, I still feel content. I met up with Kah, Mel, Anna, Nic and JZ for lunner (lunch/dinner LOL) at Manhattan Fish Market and even after eating, we still didn't have any plans for countdown. We didn't want to go to town or any clubs because it's new year's eve and everywhere will be crowded. So in the end, Koky, Syakir and WeiHong came to join us for Les Miserables at 9pm. I loveeee the movie! Syakir kept complaining he was falling asleep during the movie hahahahah and when Eponine started singing again he shouted AIYO!! lol I can't even. So if you don't like musical AT ALL, don't watch it cos 95% of the movie is all singing. The movie ended at 11.40pm and we rushed out of the mall to flag a cab and off we go to Mount Faber to see the fireworks! There was a jam at the top of the hill and we were panicking because it was 11:59pm already. So we got off the cab and made it just in time for the fireworks!! Epic shit because we ran up and down to find a perfect spot lol.

Overdue picture from FOTW.

2012 was a good year because it's full of memories. Be it good or bad, I am grateful to have met new people, to be given opportunities and to have my family always by my side(not literally, though). Things have definitely changed in a year's time. I got closer with a lot of people, and trying to stay away from some. I am blessed to have friends who're always there for me, who make me laugh every single day, who annoy me, who tease me and even though sometime I get irritated by them, I still love them. I have the boys who always talk nonsense and make me laugh everyday in class, I have my girls who will take their time to plan a birthday surprise for me, I have Ashri who'll text me asking me if I'm okay every time I tweet something emo, I have my neighbour Yusman who's also my supper buddy, I have all my other nonsensical friends in my life. What have I done to deserve friends like these? 

Even though I wasn't as active in club activities anymore,  I've also gained new experience by being a GL for FOP and had fun with the juniors. Also, I've spent A LOT of money in 2012. I can never forget that  I   my parents spent $800+ to repair Robin. This is also probably the year that I had felt depressed for the most number of times ha ha ha. Oh, I'm also grateful for having a pair of lovely landlords!! I feel so loved because they always buy souvenirs or gifts for us when they go overseas or on festive seasons :')

My resolution for 2013, I don't think I've ever achieved any resolutions...(I went to check my blog archive LOL I did achieve one yay!)

I'm happy to stay in Singapore because I don't have to travel for 2 hours to school anymore but I hardly get to see my parents these days.

//Lastly, I want everyone to be happy.

To me, being happy is the best thing you can get in life. I have friends whom I love, family whom I care and I'm studying what I like. Although I have things that I want that is far from my reach, it's okay.  That I'll have to work for it but as for now, I am happy with what I have.

I'm not a Christian but I do believe in God. I believe He played a part for getting me into the internship company. Thank you.

So, hello 2013. I'm spending my first day of the year rushing a project that's due today haha guess that one resolution from last year have yet to be achieved.
